Donate in support of Congolese prosperity

Dear friends,

As 2017 draws to a close and we reflect on the impact ECI has had this year, we are humbled by the incredible efforts of our staff, our supporters and most of all, the Congolese organizations we partner with and support. It has not been an easy year in Congo, yet once again the optimism and resiliency of our partners has demonstrated that no matter the circumstances, local leaders will continue to create durable progress.

Below are just some of the innovative projects ECI has pioneered this year. From co-founding and supporting Saveur Du Kivu and creating the first-of-its-kind Congo Coffee Atlas, to supporting a range of incredible Congolese organizations, we know that Congolese-led solutions present the best path to peace and prosperity for the region.

Looking forward, ECI has some exciting projects coming online in 2018. We will continue to support Congolese farmers, providing tools and training as well as access to international markets via world-class companies investing in Congo. We also have a ground-breaking partnership with Google Impact to help promote the potential of Congolese agriculture, which you will hear more about next year.

As ECI founder Ben Affleck says in his recent New York Times Opinion piece, “Congo continues to face enormous challenges. But…it’s a journey toward progress, and it’s only just beginning.” No matter the challenges, ECI will stand with the Congolese people on this journey – in 2018 and beyond.

Thank you as always for your support of those we serve, and Happy Holidays from the ECI family to yours.
