Filmed by Amy Rice in July, 2011, this short feature profiles the work of Eastern Congo Initiative (ECI) grantee Laissez L'Afrique Vivre (Let Africa Live -- LAV) and the lives of two of the organization's participants, Sifa and Erick. Through support from LAV, Sifa and Erick gained vocational skills and received physiological support that helped them successfully reintegrate into their communities following experiences of traumatic violence. ECI is proud to sponsor LAV's work to create a sustainable and successful society in eastern Congo.
